Back can be removed to turn into booster cushion & covers can be removed for washing. Technical info from Maxi Cosi- Group 2/3 car seat, from 15 to 36 kg (3.5 years to around 12 years) Installed using car’s 3-point seat belt system Lightweight, can be transferred easily between cars Easy-to-adjust headrest, wide seat and lumbar support for comfort and safety Side Protection System for head, lower back and hips. please note - when new this seat comes with a removable base plate which only fits certain cars for added stability but which is not actually necessary.
